Dear NVADG,
Thank you for all the hard work you have done in taking care of the many animals displaced from their homes during the Humboldt Fire and now with the Lightning Fires which started around June 21st. My husband and I live in upper Magalia and have been ready to evacuate during this early fire season. The thought of having to take our own animals with us during an evacuation was cause for concern.

Dear NVADG,
I’m sitting here at my cabin in Lake Madrone, Berry Creek and watching the smoke fill the skies and am so thankful that my 3 dogs and 1 cat are inside with me. They are all rescues, one from Chico, one from Lake Madrone and the other from the Bay Area where we live most of the time. I saw the newscast on KHSL TV and tried to send money through my PayPal account but it wouldn’t work so here is a little contribution of which I hope it helps a little.
