Jill and SueNVADG evacuation volunteer, Sue (in yellow), gets location instructions from fellow NVADG volunteer, Jill.

NVADG is an all-volunteer organization. Our ability to provide quality care for the animals we evacuate and shelter depends on the generosity of caring, responsible individuals and businesses. NVADG appreciates donations of any size. Every dollar helps us to purchase housing, food and comforting toys for animals, fire resistant clothing and communications devices for evacuation volunteers and other needed supplies. Thank you from our volunteers and from the animals we care for.

With the many fires in Northern California, NVADG has posted many excellent pictures to show the different facets of firefighting, and the far-reaching effect the devastation of fires can have on a community. NVADG has called upon several mutual aid organizations to help care for these displaced animals. Some of their pictures are included. We have also included a link to the California State Office of Emergency Services so you can see the comprehensive slideshow they have for the firefighting activity provided by firefighters from many areas, and the animal evacuation services in our area provided by the North Valley Animal Disaster Group.
